The garage on premises manager Andres is criminal. Gary White is no better (I am uncertain if Gary White is just a code name or is the real owner of the garage). I have been parking my car in the garage at 55 west end avenue on and off for about two years. I have not had any problems (outside maybe typical garage frustration - ie. waiting a few extra minutes when the garage is busy or a new guy is on board (which is often)- having the car come back dirty etc.)except when Andres is working.
Apparently the reason for that is my ex=husband gave Andres and possibly gary white a lot of money to 'create michief' and cause me trouble. Everytime Andres is on duty - all of a sudden they can not find my keys and spend hours looking for them - this has happened four times. The first time last year, after 5 hours and the police coming Andres mysteriously found them - (somewhere in his drawer in the office) - since it was the first epeisode i assumed he was just incompetent. I actually felt bad for him since he was looking at his watch repetitively in a panic and was sweating profusely. He also insisted on charging me a $40.00 fee for pushing the car and he also insisted that i pay the extra money for the time he was looking for the keys. i later found out he 'found the keys' because the attendant that took my car and the keys the day before was just about to come on duty and he didnt want to be found out. The second and third time Andres did this was about 3 and 4 months ago. While he was on duty (he told his staff that only HE should touch my car) I got my car back not only with a dead battery but once with three flat tires and disconnected fuses and the other with a dead battery, scratches and the smell of urine in my car.
this last time - yesturday - Andres also tried to allege i did not leave the key and he refused to give me my car. This time the attendant that took my car and key the day before came back to the garage (after his shift) beacuse he forgot soemthing. He told Andres he personally took my key like he does all the time and it was in the car. It wasnt in the car - BUT it was found in Andres drawer. Andres still refused to give me my car and he disaappeared for half an hour inthe garage. When he came back - he wanted 750.00 in cash and tore up the claim slip in front of me. I called the police and when the police came - Andres started telling the police it was a civil matter and he was not releasing my car. The police finally got him o release my car to me - but he insited that I pay not only the fee for the parking but and extra 160 dollars. Andres said it was a 40 fee four times for moving the car without a key. Even though the attendant told the police I left the key - i paid the money to get the car (I had to leave)- but it didnt stop there - when the car came out - it didnt come out! there was a dead battery and a few wires were pulled from the hood.
On all occasions - I contacted the main office - Gary White - was the name used for the man in charge (owner) - the women in the office initially were trying to help and quite sympathetic - but then said that they couldn't since Andres insisted that Gary White would take care of it.
Gary White (if that is his name) is criminal and a menace.

Gary Schneeweis is the real name. File complaints with the DCA or small claims court. DO NOT EVER SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THESE GUYS> I GOT SCREWED OVER TOO..
