TERRIBLE GARAGE

I have been with West End Towers Garage for 3 Years now. Not only is their customer service horrendous. The employees have no regard for your car or possessions. Here are my complaints,
1. Despite being a regular customer for a solid year, and despite them knowing that I live in the building and was not going anywhere, they held my car hostage until my check cleared.
2. I have a contract with the garage, so I can park my car there on a daily basis. Irregardless of the contract, the garage charges me for loaner cars when my car is in service. The first time they told me I had to pay for parking the loaner car, but would get my money back when I sent in the receipts. When I sent in the receipts, they said I could not get my money back unless I pre-approved my loaner car. When I called to pre-approve my loaner car, they said they do not provide a service for loaner cars and I would have to pay for whichever car I brought in.
3. My car ipod player was stolen from my vehicle and the manager did not call me back when I filed a complaint.
4. One morning I came back to see my car key broken in peices, and once again, I called and talked to the guys in the garage for more than a month straight, and yet the manager did not call me back. The guys in the garage said exactly this "Gary is an -------, you will not be able to deal with him"
5. Just recently, when I was pulling my car out, my boyfriend witnessed one of the employees playing bumper cars in a tight spot until the car was parked. When they say they aren't responsible for damages, it does not mean they need to intentionally damage the cars.
6. The employees parked my car next to a pillar. The keys were on the dash board (my spare key, since the original was yet to be replaced by the garage) and the only door that was unlocked was the one next to the pillar. When I complained to one of the employees, he told me "This is life. you have to deal with it" Not to mention, that while I was talking to him, there was another disgrunitled customer who was complaining because, along with his check, he sent a cancellation notice. The garage conveniently deposited the check but had no recollection of cancellation and held his car hostage, because they were worried he wouldn't pay for the extra 3 months. The garage attendent was attempting to keep this man hostage as well, until he pays for teh last two months in advance, that poor man had to walk to work late. The best part of this scenario was when one of the employees, who would clearly not solve our problems told us he can't let us talk to eachother about what happened and that he had to put an end to that. What I want to put an end to is this inefficient, greedy , unethical business
7. There is construction going on throughout the garage, and when you talk to the management office about its inconveneince, they say..."The buildings landlord is making us do the construction, don't bother us.. talk to the landlord" That would be easier said than done, considering I am not paying the landlord to park my car.
When I called the management office, Ofcourse... GARY WHITE was not there. As if he is ever there. The woman who picks up the phone listens to my greivances, writes them down incorrectly, repeats them to me incorrectly, and tells me her only job is to right my name down... I wonder if she can even do that' When I tell her I want my complaint heard and explained correctly, she yells at me saying she doens't care... She told me she doesn't want to talk to me while I am upset, I hadn't realized we were on friendly terms and she could dictate when we would have our conversations. Ofcourse, I have talked to a lawyer, and I called this incompetent woman, I believe her name is Annette..I ask Miss Incompetency of the year wether Gary was given my message , and he was not.. then I asked if he was coming into the office today, and she whined, saying yes... But that she does not know his whereabout... How could I forget.. she is there to write down names...
This garage doesn't deserve the one star this site is forcing me to give them. Any Although I recommend the building , I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE GARAGE.

Gary Schneeweis is the real name. File complaints with the DCA or small claims court. DO NOT EVER SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THESE GUYS> I GOT SCREWED OVER TOO.. but I got it back through small claims.

When I lived here, I was told by one of the building employees to steer clear of their parking garage, interesting.
