Allen Meadows is a scam. There is mold in all shower ceilings.Sure they paint over it between tenants, but how much mold is there in the walls' We scrub non stop and every opther week the ceiling in the shower turns moldy again. The owner / manager does not take calls and does not return calls when there are maitenance issues. Cars have been broke into several times throughout the summer. When they get broke into it's not just one car. It's all the cars in the parking lot. One lady was kidnapped in my parking lot. Kids are dealing drugs in the parking lot, every now and then you catch them. There was a double stabbing in one unit durring the summer of 2006. Police seem to be around often as crime is a problem. Fireworks being shot off in the parking lot by teens is an annoyance. Also the helicoptors get low and search lights are a pain to wake up to. When the airport is rerouted planes fly directly overhead every 5 minutes. Can't even hear on the phone. This place was nice 4 years ago but has turned to garbage. The ghetto has filled up and there comming to the meadows. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I totally agree, we lived there from '01-'03, then moved across the street to Windsor Place. In the 2 years we lived there it was bad, and you are right- the cops were there almost every night, and the managers never returned any phone calls. Windsor was like living in a mansion compared to there. And just driving by everyday we could tell it was getting worse and worse there.
