Just visited someone in the units. They happen to live in an end unit. It was VERY COLD outside, but even with the furnace set all the way up to 90, or whatever is max, I froze the entire weekend. Plastic was put over the inside of the windows, as instructed by management...but I the plastic was blowing in so badly that the blinds covering the windows was being blown away from the plastic!! Management seems to think that this is a normal thing for units facing the wind. SORRY!!!!!!!! For the cost of renting there, I would pass on these units.

My friends aparment is the same way. Her sliding door is horrible. Lots of cold air in winter, hot air from summer. Even with proper window treatments. Unless they improve the doors/windows it will stay like that. Plus is you dont have to pay electric..but they get you in the next lease signing for that cost.

I have lived here for 3 years and my rent only went up once ($5 a month more). I don't think they are out to get you with the rent. If you look at the other complexes in the area, this is actually really good. Also, about the heat, I had a problem once and it was a simple part they had to fix. If you don't notify them that there is a problem, how can they fix it. I haven't had a problem with the heat since.

We did notify them...over and over and over...lost track of how many times. They claimed it was because we were an end unit. We had a baby! They gave us 2 space heaters in the first year there...took one away to give to another person...and the small one they left us with nearly caught fire.
