I have lived in a 2 bedroom basement level for almost a year. Let me tell you June cannot get her soon enough for me to get out of this hell hole. My first horrible experience was my closet floor completely soaked. I called maintenance and they tried telling me that is was condensation on the cement floor under the rug. Ok whatever...I cleaned it up and went on with my life. About a week later, the floor was soaked again, stunk, and I now had mold all over my shoes that were on the floor. Again, I called maintenance and told them to please look into this more. Well, guess what, after they cut a hole in my wall they found that the bathtub was leaking into the wall and all into my closet. So they throw some caulk on the tub and schedule to come back in a week on Wed. I come home from work on Wed and knwoing they had been working, I check out the bathroom which was only supposed to take this 1 day and the tub and the wall were the only things getting fixed. I turn on the light to see and NOTHING. Thats because there is no light because the entire bathroom is GUTTED down to the studs. Now I knew I would be without a shower for a day while the caulk dried but made no other plans for going to the bathroom because originally I DIDNT HAVE TO. After calling the emergency maintenance they set me up with the bathrrom in the townhouse next door. So for that night if I had to pee I had to walk outside. By friday because the job was still not done, they let me use the vacant apt across the hall. It took them a until Tuesday to "finish" the job, which I use very loosely. The hole in my wall was never fixed and the carpet that had the mold growing on it still has not been shampooed. Under the kitchen sink is rotten and moldy, and I was told by the maintenance guy that it would be fixed by the end of Jan. Its now March. My silverware drawer must be a great bathroom because that is where the MICE like to go to do their business. They are getting in under that sink and so far have had to exterminate 3 of them. So you ask, why havent I done anything about this' That is because I am sick and tired of being disrespected and talked down to by the office staff (mainly the rental manager). But I guess when you have as much time in as she does then you can treat people like crap. All utilites included is great but definatly NOT WORTH IT!!!

We had a mold and water problem down into our basement with our townhouse there. They wanted to BLAME US! We didn't do anything because we weren't home! We'd gone on vacation. Their pipes had leaked and you could see it all down the pipe in the basement. Several hundreds of dollars worth of clothing ruined. Yes...we had renter's insurance, but we ended up not wanting touch the crap down there for fear of illness...so we just said screw it, threw it all away. Because the apartments wouldn't hone up...we wouldn't have gotten anything anyway.
