If you can afford more, don't even consider this place. We tried to go cheap for a couple years while saving for a down payment on a house, but it's hard to say it was worth it.

Thin walls, disrespectful neighbors, deadbeat parents that let their kids do whatever. Management pretends to take your complaints seriously but never do anything to better the situation.

Maintenance was usually quick and responsive, probably the only thing I would give a thumbs up to.

The apartments have their own power grid. We lost power twice because of underground wires, and they didn't even start repairing them until the next morning. Completely unacceptable. Once this happened in winter with no repair crew to be seen for 12 hours. Then they started and stopped throughout the next day.

They lost our rent check twice. One of the times they stated someone broke into the drop box and stole them. Instead of alerting the tenants, they never sent out a notice then delivered delinquent rent notices. Why you wouldn't alert tenants about this is beyond me. Don't use the drop box, hand deliver your rent and ask for a receipt.

When moving out, they tried to charge us because the carpet wasn't shampooed, even though no where in the lease agreement did it ever state we were responsible for this. They did drop the charge after complaining, but a less vocal person would be taken advantage of.

i shampooed my carpet before moving out and was still charged for a "dirty capret." with the cleaning and repairs i did myself, that place looked better when i left than when i moved in.
