Pricey for what you get......

Parking is especially bad when it snows. If you work nights and are trying to sleep forget about it after a snow storm. They come through blowing horns to get people to move their cars so they can clear snow. They assign one spot but really should assign 2/apt. Some residents have 3 or 4 cars and park them all as close to the bldg as they can to avoid walking. At night it is very poorly lit. Most of the bulbs around the complex are burned out and the ones that are lit are probably about 40W each. Laundry facilities are always crowded and sometimes dirty. Inconsiderate tenants leave their laundry for hours after it's done. Having to wait sends lots of people to the laundromat. The insulation is very poor between the apts and you can hear your neighbors talking and their music playing (you can't make out what they're saying but you can still hear it). Floorboards are VERY creaky and you can hear every movement your upstairs neighbors (even their cat) are making on the floor above you. The rents are VERY expensive for what you get. Kitchens are very small but nicely applianced and modern. Bathrooms are small but fixtures are nice and somewhat modern. Central A/C. Staff is excellent and concerned with resident opinions. Home Properties owns the place and needs to make some investment in making the apartments worth the rent they collect.
