This apartment complex is a clean, quiet community and the apartment we live in is in good condition. The grounds, too, are meticulously maintained, and the neighbors are pleasant and friendly. However, my experience has been that management - by which I mean the office, which in turn answers to the Kamson Corporation - is very ineffective in responding to maintenance issues. It took me three months of constant phone calls and letters to get them to eliminate the squirrels living in the bedroom walls, which made so much noise it was impossible to sleep in the bedroom. For the last two months, in the middle of winter, we have had inadequate heat (it never goes above 65 and the bedroom is sometimes at 60) and despite many complaints, and a call to the corporate office which has not been returned, the problem has not been rectified, although they have "bled" the pipes five times and have had people "look at" the boiler. There is no follow-up unless I call the office and make yet another complaint. So: it's a nice place to live, unless something goes wrong.

I rent in a Kamsen owned property in central New Jersey. I agree that they keep the exterior of the buildings as well as the property in spectacular condition. As for the interior, I experience the same problem with heat. I had the ceiling of my son???s room actually begin to collapse before I could get anyone to pay attention to me. The corporate office, as well as all who work there treat me as if I am a annoying them simply by calling. To add insult to injury, the person in charge of my property has never returned any of my calls. This only scratched the surface of how horrible the Kamsen Corporation is.
