I looked for 8 months for a suitable apartment in a good neighborhood; read the reveiws on all the local complexes & I came to the conclusion that most of the complaints on here were nothing more then normal issues I dealt with when I lived in a house......annoying neighbors, lawn mowing, yelling, floors that made noise, and kids playing. I decided that basically people suck, you can't make everyone happy & if this is all there is to complain about then I am good with that. I moved into Dutchess 4 years ago & I love it. I wanted to let everyone know that. Yes they mow the lawn & if your windows are open you can hear it WOW!! I close my windows I barely hear it. Yes there are kids, & believe or not they play, again WOW!! By 9pm I can't hear a thing. As far as psychotic neightbors go hey go to your state senators blame them there was a place for these people to go, not anymore but I was glad to read that if your neighbor is completely psychotic you can move into another appartment for free, to me that sounds like they handled the issue. Were they suppose to shoot the person. There are psychotic people everywhere do you never shop!! Just so that you know I am happy here, if something is broke it is fixed & the grounds are clean. I am completely left alone I don't hear much. I hope this paints a more realistic picture for the more honest and straight forward people looking for a safe place to live.
