My only problem with Forbus Hill apartments was with the cleanliness/age of the apartments. Ours was a spacious two-bedroom. When we moved in, there was grime under the stove and refrigerator because both had been there for many years, and no one had ever bothered to clean under them. The cabinets were caked in grease built up over maybe thirty years, and impossible to clean. On top of that, although we left the apartment as we found it, clean to a point, the management charged us $100 for cleaning. I found this a bit annoying. However, the management was generally pleasant and accommodating. The rent was reasonable, and, most importantly, they are one of the few complexes left who will entertain the notion of tenants owning pets. If they would only renovate the apartments, they would be near perfection.
