Live somewhere else.

Moved in Summer '04. CONSTANT renovations to exterior while interior suffers from poor craftsmanship and maintenance.
For THREE months, they began masonry renovations to sidewalks and stairs at 7 am EVERY morning (including Saturdays)...waking up entire complex and neighbors in adjacent complex with no apologizes or compensation for gross encroachment on quality of life. They also ripped out the sidewalks and stairs without replacing them for weeks...
They do not care at all how NOISY this place is...trust me, there are constant distractions making it impossible to work from home, e.g., my neighbor who beats her 100 kids at least twice per day.
Benefits: For those of you who enjoy getting burned and frozen within three-second intervals, this place has the showers for you. Also, if you like your central air to malfunction and provide you with a comfortable 90-degree temperature in the summer, you'll love it here.
IT GETS BETTER - they decided to take all the conveniently located trash receptacles away, and you must place your smelly trash in your CAR and DRIVE it to new the huge eye-sore unsanitary "centrally-located" mammoth of a dumpster (which you need a code to access). They claim that it "cuts down on litter and rodent infestation". Now the rodents can have a smorgasbord of trash because people do a drive-by and just fling their trash in the general direction of the behemoth dumpster...no one wants to
have to deal with that nonsense.
Another thing: GEESE POOP. Enough said.
I would not have minded the 1300 per month if the apartment complex had lived up to its promises of quiet and classy living.
Listen to a friend - LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE.
