Let me just say that moving to this place is the biggest mistake I have ever made as a renter. The one bedrooms are so small that like a dumb ass I agreed to see a loft. The male seller of the office told me all 2 bedrooms were taken (probably a lie). The grounds and all are private and pretty but the management lies about EVERYTHING!!!! I was told they were building a gym-pure b.s., and a tennis court-more lies!!

The seller told me that rent including heat and water. The lease does not mention heat and when I asked about it he was like oh thats apart of the water part of the lease. LIES!!!!!!! I called Central Hudson after some outrageous bills, like over 500 dollars and they told me that I do not only pay for heat but my hot water. This place only pays for cold water! Who charges for freakin cold water.

The management is rude and slimey and needs to be shut down. As of now, my lease is with my lawer, cuz I want to get out of here. I have lost so much money, because of this place. They say no dogs allowed here, but I see people all over with dogs, and though the cable is included with the rent, unless you have a box in every room you don't get all your channels.

I am spending almost 2000 a month to live here, because nothing is included like I was told. These people need to be shut down!! If you have a tenant here, we need to band together and stop them. Even just calling the journal so other people know how bad this place is. I want management to know they cannot get away with this!!!!!!

this is typical aimco managment. google them..nothing but bad news. i moved here from chelsea ridge to escape them and three months after i moved in the owner sold to them. what luck, huh? well after my lease ends in november im out- and i will never again live in an aimco managed property. i honestly think they give their people courses in incompetance and dishonesty.

This guys are after your money. Yes, they smile and lie. Actually, I liked my room, but it was too expencive 1020/m all utilities. I moved out as soon as my IBM contract ended. They charge me 2 monthly payments for moving erlier even though I was only one month into new lease and asked them to pay monthly rate, which is $300 more per month. Previous managment was no better than aimco.

The thing that bothers me is that they lie! How can they legally get away with lieing to people. They told me all I would have to pay for is my electric. They made it out like my heat was not included in my electric bill when it is, and they are not paying for my freakin water. Paying for cold water is not paying for anything. My lawyer told me that the lease is really horrible and nothing but a trap. I wish I had given it to him before I moved in. He said I could try to leave on the basis that they mislead me, but how to prove that?? It becomes he said, versus I said. I had a relative their when I was being told about the apartment and everyone I know, remembers me raving about how cool it was to find a place that included everything, but in court that crap won't really hold up. All that will hold up is the lease. I just got a survey from the aimco management and I rated them as horrible and told them that they need to have better management and that I would not in a million years recommend the place to anyone. I would sublet, but no one in their right mind would pay that much to rent there.
