i have rented here for 3 yrs. i know of 1 shooting by a non resident in wee hrs of the night last summer near the rental offices/pool. the police arrested the person quickly. i have not heard of any robberies from anyone in our building or surrounding buildings, if those other reviews were robbed they never made it known to others in community or offices. maintenance does need to be nagged a little but when they show up they do repairs in a good time frame and i have never had to call them back for any problem they have fixed. i have only need them to repair anything 3 times in 3 years. heat is building by building i know that 1 of the buildings needed a boiler replaced but all the plumbing in my building was done few yrs before i moved in and works very well. when you renew expect to pay more than they list as rents on the websites. i just got my new lease and they want 100 more than highest listed price for 1 bedroom in this complex and i do not have the washer dryer hook ups. i am very annoyed that they make it sound as if the pool is included in rent but come summer they make you pay a fee to get use of it. we had a ant problem and they not only sent a exterminator free of charge but treated the grass around the building to take care of it long term. office staff is very pleasant. apt is well lit and kitchen is really nice. the stainless appliances are extra so i chose the standard but if you want the polished steel look just ask them. they allow cats 2 or 1 dog they do charge 30 a pet now per month and a one time fee at rental. parking is tight at times and often you must park on the front street side of apts depending on building your in. only time i have heard neighbors was when the couple on other side of my wall had a real scream match. don't even hear when they play music or tv or clean otherwise, never hear upstairs neighbor , very well built.
