I've lived here at the Mansions for about 2 years now, and my experiance is extremely different from many of the other reviews I've read on this site. From the moment I moved in the staff was always extremely kind and nice to me. They always knew me by name even when all I did was drop off a check every month. Yes the utilities are high. Especially in the winter. They are huge apartments, or at least the 2 bdrm loft that I live in is quite costly to heat, but my air in the summer isn't qite as high. The parking is a problem only if you're one of those people that have 4 roomates in a 2 bdrm apt. I think there is ample amount of parking considering they give you a garage and a spot behind it. As far as maintence goes, every time I had a maintenece request someone was there that day to fix the problem. I never had a issue with waiting or things not being fixed as others have noted. It's a safe apartment complex and the grounds are kept beautiful.I never had mold issues or draft issues either as others have said, so thats the only comment I can make regardign those things. The lady's in the leasing dept. were always very kind to me and showed me an equal amount of respect. Perhaps when others are rude to them, they might have a human response and be just as rude back...Just my thoughts. Overall, you get what you pay for. The rent is a bit pricey but you get a lot of space and a quiet safe neighborhood. I would recommend this place to others.
