I actually liked it there, but it was too expensive

I lived at the Mansions for 6 months and I actually had a good experience there. My building was very quiet and I always felt safe. The apartments are bright and spacious and include a washer and dryer and an attached garage. Parking was never a problem, but I only had one car to contend with. People with multiple cars might find parking to be an issue. I lived on the 2nd floor so I didn't have to worry about hearing people walking above me.

The only downside is that the walls are thin and I could hear my neighbors very clearly. The first night there I could hear my neighbor snoring and it kept waking me up all night. I had to keep my television on to drown out the noise! I could hear when his radio alarm went off in the morning; I could hear him VERY CLEARLY in the bathroom which was rather disconcerting. Also, the garages are located right beneath the apartments and when the garage doors would open or close, the noise was incredible . . . it made the building tremble. That is really my main complaint.

Maintenance was excellent. I only had to call a couple of times for relatively minor things when I first moved in and they came almost immediately.

I wasn't impressed with the office staff, but I didn't have to deal with them much. The only time I saw them was when I dropped off the check each month. There was one person in the office who I thought was lacking in the personality department, but other than that they were okay.

The location is great with Target, Super Wal-mart, and Home Depot right down the road. Hannaford and CVS are just a little further down the road. There are plenty of eateries (Panera, Starbucks, Brueggers Bagels, etc.) and a movie theater.

Honestly, the main reason I moved out was because of the price of the apartment. The place is nice but not worth that much money. For that price, I expected perfection and that was not the case. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
