It is a nice apartment complex. After living there 15 months they are raising my rent $100, which I think is too much after already paying $750 for a one bedroom. The apartment is spacious, though, and LOADS of closet space. New person just moved in upstairs and I can hear her walking in heels ALL THE TIME, even though the floors are carpeted. Before that I never heard my neighbors. When my disposal broke they fixed it the next day. The elecrical work to my stove was shoddy. If I had the oven on and tried to put a burner on, the circuit would blow and I would have to wait 5 minutes to fix it. When the maintanance guy came he said he could find nothing wrong with it. I did find 3 dead mice in the heating vents when I went to change the air filter, which looked like the original air filter the apartment came with. The parking system is not very good, there were 4 handicapped spaces in front of my building, but only 2 cars with handicapped stickers so those spaces sat empty for about 5 months, until they finally took the handicapped signs down. In the winter I have had to park in other building's lots, or in the fire lane since parking is hard to come by a lot of nights and there are no assigned spaces. Heating the place will run you between 130-150, but that is just for a single person one bedroom. It is very drafty since my apartment had no blinds. The pool and exercise facility are nice. Nice area to live. I think they may be raising the rent so much b/c of Oak Hill apartments charging so much right next door. Well kept grounds, safe area except for the one time my car got broken into. Also, the person who wrote a negative review and said they lived on the third floor was lying because there are only two floors here. Decide for yourself.
