Blueberry Hill, simply put, is not worth the money you spend here. Sure, it's got some nice amenities - washer/dryer and a fireplace in some units - but the construction is about as cheap as they come. It's very noisy here. You can hear the neighbors - upstairs and to the side of you very easily. When the neighbors walk, it sounds like 500 pound sumo wrestlers jumping up and down. And they're not walking particularly hard or anything like that. You can hear the neighbors to the side of you as well in their kitchen and carrying on conversations, etc. When it's windy outside, the apartments rattle like a 20 year old Oldsmobile! The feel like they're going to come apart. If you live on an apartment facing the roadway inside the community, beware - the road noise comes right through the windows like nothing. It's like you don't even have windows. The insulation from the cold is very poor as well. My RG&E bill averaged $150 per month in the winter and I kept the thermostat at 62 virtually all winter long. The roadways in the community need work as well. There are potholes galore. The snow removal is not very prompt either. If it snows on Friday, the maintenance staff might or might get to it on Monday. They might plow it a day or two later, but nothing really promptly.

They have a really strict lease breakage clause as well, which calls for you to pay the lease in FULL if you feel the need to vacate. Not one month's rent or two month's rent - but the full amount. The owner is a lawyer so I'm sure he'll get his money if you have to challenge this in court.

So in summary - while it looks nice from the road when you're driving by, you might want to pass on this one. I don't know who the people are who wrote the positive reviews or what they're thinking. Maybe they're written by the apartment community employees themselves, because the reviews surely sound like cheeleading. Don't take my word for it, look at some of the other negative reviews and judge for yourself. You should expect more for the $$$ you pay.
