We moved in about a month and a half ago to Crittenden Way and have really liked our experience so far. It is very affordable and were impressed with the size of our apartment. There are picnic tables and grills provided for outside use and the grounds are kept moved and clean. The heat, water, garbage and parking are all included so that was another bonus for us.
There are laundry facilities in the basement (2 washers, 2 dryers) for each building as well as a small locked storage room for each apartment. The condition of the apartment was good, when we moved in there was a brand new fridge and stove and we have also been promised a new dishwasher which should be arriving shortly.The fixtures in the apartment are nothing special but they are all in good working order and have been functioning just fine.
Our neighbors seem friendly and the noise level is similar to any other apartment, sometimes there is loud music so you can hear the bass through the walls but nothing obscene or too annoying. There seem to be a very diverse range of people who live here - older folks, families, students, etc. and it is nice to see all the different types of people. Outside our apartment there is a huge parking lot with PLENTY of parking. We have yet to experience a winter here so I can't really comment on their snow removal promptness yet.
The management seem very friendly, maybe a little slow to get the new appliances but we are just happy to be getting them! They have been very prompt about getting us spare keys and are very attentive to other small maintenance things.
Is it an affordable roof over our head' Yes. Is there plenty of hot water and decent kitchens and bathrooms' Yes. Is it convenient to shopping and grocery' Yes. It is everything we need and nothing we don't. Overall I would recommend Crittenden Way and have been very pleased with the service we have experienced.
