When looking for an apartment, after selling my house, I knew of French Court's reputation from people I knew who have lived here before. After looking at other places, I chose French Court Apts. for their cleanliness, up-keep and location. Across the street, there is a small field, woods and a pond that often has ducks and geese in it. It is a short drive to the grocery store and shopping plazas. The Erie Canal is a very short walk away and one can walk, bike, jog, roller blade etc.. on the path that follows along the canal that passes through countless towns. It is a short drive to Mendon Ponds, a wooded park with deer grazing in it's fields. Also U of R, RIT, Nazareth and MCC colleges are only about 10-15 minutes away. I have lived here for two and a half years. My experience is that repairs are done within the same day that it is reported. Sidewalks and parking lots are kept clean from debris and snow. Ryan and the maintenance crew are very polite and courteous.
