Generally, one of the nicer places in the Rochester area to live.

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2004
NOISE:
* Only very occasional problems with one or two neighbors... we had great immediate neighbors where we lived! Apartments at the front of the complex tend to be less bothersome than the apartments further toward the back.
* The bigger problem is the traffic on Greenleaf Road - too many screaming bikes and squealing tires in the evening and into the morning hours, loud mufflers... coming from vehicles across the street, and even some exiting GLM.
* On the property, too much excessive speed on the complex roadways. I suggested speed bumps, but my thought was rejected.
PETS:
* You pay somewhat of a hefty monthly fee per pet (higher than what I find in my new location).
LEAVING:
* The four month notice policy is very inconvenient, and peculiar to other places I have reviewed (including where I live now), even with the one month extension privilege.
OVERALL:
* Great emergency response time from fire and police.
* Generally friendly maintenance personnel and quick repair service.
* Office staff generally sincere and courteous, with some exceptions.
* Great snow removal from sidewalks and roadways - steps are even "salted" and shoveled.
* Overall, a pretty nice place to live, fair price for what you get. The biggest benefit is the closeness to Lake Ontario and expressways to the city.
* Would I do it again' I'd first check out a few more places to compare ammenities and prices - after I moved in, I heard first hand of other complexes that were equal to or better for the money.
