We have lived in a one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartment in the Imperial South complex and they have both been wonderful experiences. The wall-to-wall carpeting is replaced for each new tenant and is plush and well padded, providing a lot of good sound insulation. Noise has NEVER been a problem in these apartments! The rooms are good sized, with big windows and lots of closet space. The apartments provide a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and garbage disposal and all have been in good working order. Even better, the maintainance here is really 5-star. The few times we have had random things break, they had a maintainance worker here within a few hours to fix the problem. The complex has its own set of snow plows, which they use daily during the winter to keep all the paths and the parking lot clear, and landscaping is kept up beautifully during the non-snowy months. The apartment complex is also in a really good area of town that's right on a bus route and really close to everything. We're only minutes from the University of Rochester or downtown and walking distance to Highland Park, a Wallgreens, Tops Supermarket, and doctors offices. The administration staff here is very friendly and available everyday but Sunday. The rent is about average for the area, and although it's pricier than you can find at some other places, the good area and great maintainance of these apartments definitely makes it worth the price.
