My wife and I are outdoor people and we find that the view of Long Pond is just as beautiful from our bedroom... We can sit and watch the sunset in the west, and not have to worry about the sunrise except for heading into it on the way to work in the morning...

The management is helpful, and the maintenance guys do their work accordingly, as for maintaining my apartment, they have had to replace some duplex recepticals but that's all... Haven't had to deal with anything to drastic, the guys are out plowing and removing snow as needed, and then the grounds are kept up in the spring and summer months, and throughout the fall...

If you're into fishing or boating as we are Long Pond Shores offer a private boat launch, and you can catch huge fish from the shore, as I did one day in October a nice 26" Walleye which is on my livingroom wall...

There is alot too offer here it's like a resort in the summer and there's plenty to keep one busy in the winter as well...

This place is what you make of it... We love it here and we'll be here to stay for a few more years...

This complex is hardly a "resort" in the summer. My experience from 03'-05' was that small children run around everywhere - on the general grounds, right behind apartments, and in the pool -, several people drove horrendously loud cars and motorcycles through daily, and the bugs were HORRIBLE by the water.

Obviously, this is an OLD review. Long Pond Shores is under new management. I have been living here since July 08. In these few months I have gotten to know the management team, maintenance team and many happy, friendly neighbors. Kids are kids! I've not had a problem with any of them. As for the apartment community, it is very well kept. I've often said "I feel like I live in a resort". And I am treated the same. I am very happy here and recommend Long Pond Shores to anyone looking for a new place to live. I believe they are doing a great job with the improvements being made. I look forward to enjoying my "Life at the Resort".
