They lie

Don't listen to a thing the people in the rental office say. They will tell you anything to get you to rent their apartments. I was told when I rented my townhouse that any repairs I needed would be dealt with quickly and to my liking. That was a total lie. I have been asking for items to be repaired since last year that still haven't been addressed.
I was also told that the neighborhood was quiet with enough parking. Another lie. I rarely get to park in front of my door because their is not enough parking for the number of cars. The noise outside, especially during the summer, is terrible. The college kids party all night and are not held to any kind of rules as far as volume or conduct. I have to use a fan at night to drown out the sound of screaming partiers.
I was also told that the electric bill was very inexpensive. The "average monthly cost" that they quoted me is about a third of what I actually pay.
Anyway, I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. If you're interested in renting with this company I suggest talking to the renters rather than the rental office. You'll get far more accurate info.
