First year that I moved in, one of my roomate's bike got stolen when left outside our back door. Later, we saw one of the maintence workers riding my roommate's bike with his kids! What a way to be a good role model! He definitely knew it was his bike because of a significant mark.
Almost all of our boxes in the basement storage on unfinished cement floor got ruined and molded! It's always smelly. Sometimes the smell leaked into the first floor of the townhouse.
The kitchen pantry is WAY too small! The bathroom closet upstairs is so so tiny! The half bath downstairs is horribly designed and way too small.
I loved the living room and the kitchen, though. It was very spacious. The kitchen had a big window facing the backyard so I enjoyed looking out while washing dishes. Yeah their dishwasher is a CHEAP-A$$.
The walls are way too thin so our next door neighbor would knock on our door asking us to turn down our music or t.v. ALLLL the time. Sometimes the volume is just above normal AND the neighbor STILL complains. I was baking cookies one time and listening to music (not blasting loud). I was bored. Then the next door neighbor during the DAY asked me to turn it down! I need some music in my life! Gee!! I did turn it down out of respect, but still.. the apartment policy was "no noise after 11pm."
One of the maintenence workers was always flirting with me when he would come over to fix something that we reported. I was uncomfortable knowing that he had a key to our apartment. He even told me where he lived and asked me to stop by sometimes after knowing that I HAVE a boyfriend. I told him numerous of times, but of course he just didn't listen.
The maintenence quick response is terrible. Sometimes I'd wait for weeks before I call again. Sometimes I'd have to call 3 times to get someone over. Sometimes it's quick but not too often. The dishes would come out yucky after they've been washed. Dishwasher soap= CHEAP.
Parking wasn't always that great. It was always full every night because of parties and visitors. We only get 2 spots per townhouse. There were 4 or 5 of us and more than 2 cars. It was difficult sharing. We often parked in other people's spots or vice versa. I wld try to ask my friends to park in the visitor spot, but they don't always do that.
Many more to list, but you get the idea..
One other positive thing was that we had a beautiful cherry tree in the backyard. We enjoyed it every sunday by playing outside with friends.
Oh... utilities not included and definitely HIGH...
Deposit is ONE Month's RENT!! My roommate's father called and argued that it's ridiculously high. They agreed to let each of us pay $300 for security deposit. I didnt get all the money back ofc.

Dear Resident:
Thank you for providing us with your feedback, your opinions are very valuable to us as they help us improve our service policies. All of our employees are covered by a fidelity bond and carefully screened before being offered employment. Employee theft is not tolerated. There is no record in our files of this incidence. We are terribly sorry that your roommate’s bike was stolen and if you believe one of our staff members is responsible, please contact us directly at 344-9280.
We are sorry you didn’t enjoy all aspects of the apartment in which you resided.
We stock our apartments with commercial grade GE appliances. We wished you had notified our service department if you were experiencing difficulties with the dishwasher. They would gladly have repaired or replaced it.
People live within close proximity to one another in an apartment community. Therefore, residents must be courteous to one another. Our noise policy requests that our residents observe quiet hours between 10 PM and 8 AM. At times, some residents have mistakenly interpreted this to mean that you can be as loud as you wish outside of those hours.
Our employees conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. Unprofessional conduct is not tolerated without exception. Our staff is very pleasant, outgoing and devoted to delivering exception customer service. We would not tolerate anything less. Again, we wish you had notified us if you felt one of our staff was behaving inappropriately. Bad behavior is not condoned and would have been dealt with immediately.
Our parking policy permits two spaces per apartment and is strictly enforced. We’re sorry if this inconvenienced you.
Security deposits are fully refundable at the end of the lease term provided there are no damages beyond normal wear and tear.
Thank you again for your comments.

It doesn't matter what kind of appliances you stock when they are 25 years old!! They may work but they are an eyesore and there is no way they are energy efficient. Im sure my airconditioner(which has broke several times) is costing me a great deal of money with RGE due to the inefficiency. They need to stop putting a bandaid on everythin and actually replace things once in a while like other apartments I've lived in.

Thats --------, I never got my fully security deposit while there was not damaged and I had no idea that I was extra charged for many years and it was sent to debit collector. And it was even only 35 dollars, what a great model they get. YES, THEY are NOT nice with deaf communities. I had to wait for about 2 months to get my strobe light set. They didnt even care about the fire alarm. I lived there for 9 months with no fire alarm. So glad out of the horrible apartment.
