Ok for college student

Lived there for about a year while going to RIT. The location was very close to RIT, but was pricey for what you get. Security doors were good and appliances were ok. In-the-wall air conditioner was innefective and a waste of energy/money.

Tenants were noisy (a lot of college kids) and the walls were thin. We were kept awake for hours listening to loud music and/or loud tenants on balconies. Not the best neighborhood: noisy people, rude kids that don't move from the roads, etc.

Some of the staff was not very friendly. Their deposit rules were bogus...although my (now wife) and I were engaged, we still had to pay double deposit (total of $600) because I was still in college (which is technically illegal, but I didn't feel like pursuing). When it came time to move out, they took there sweet time in returning our deposit. At least we got 90% of it back.

Thank you for taking the time to post your opinion, we greatly value your feedback as it helps us to improve upon our customer service. We believe that our apartments offer a great value for the size. If you were to survey the market, we are positive that you would not find cheaper accommodations of a similar size and quality. Part of apartment community living requires that residents live in close proximity to one another. Therefore, you may be more likely to hear your neighbors. I can assure you the staff is very proactive in addressing any noise complaints and will evict repeat offenders, provided we are notified that a situation exists. Our security deposit policy is by no means illegal. We would invite you to contact us should you require clarification in this regard at 585-334-9280.
