There are definitely some rough spots in terms of maintenance- Our door system is flaky (usually people just prop the door open) and the parking lot/beach area is a bit of a mess. Also, maintenance can be a bit hard to get a hold of and slowish, but is friendly and helpful when they do arrive. The rent definitely took a nice climb after the first year...
on the other hand...
Some of the apartments, like ours, are modern, renovated and really great looking, with high, vaulted ceilings on the second floor- there is a big park next door that's great for pets (which they allow) The neighbors are overall very friendly and mostly very courteous. The managment is definitely very helpful if there is anything serious that needs to be addressed. The price is a pretty good value for what you get... It has a great atmosphere with the ocean-front location.
I'd say it really depends what you're looking for and what you're willing to overlook in terms of minor things... this place can be a great value for the right person!
