Great location, not so great apartments

I have lived in Tall Oaks for nearly three years and over time have become increasingly dissatisfied with the complex. The aprtments themselves are in very poor condition and renovations are non- existent. I have had maintenance over several times for the same problems. Basically, the apartments need to be gutted and updated dramatically. This section of Niskayuna is so great that it is a shame these apartments are in shambles!

i was planning on moving to tall oaks but now i question my self if i should . is it honestly that bad?

I have lived there for nearly a year now and like the place. My single had been totally renovated and I was first to rent it post renovation. I don't know how many units have been renovated since the original posting. One thing I will say is that the laundry facilities (washer/dryers)are pathethic and really need to be better maintained. I squawked once but nothing changed.
