I have been in these apartments for 2 years & all I've had is problems: cockroaches, ants, spiders, the heat went out several times over the winter, the plumbing is awful (the water regularly comes out brown), the hot water has gone out countless times, & there is NO PARKING! If you get home after 8pm, you can forget about parking anywhere close to your apartment.
So did I get a discount after all the problems I've had (including a promised discount when the heat went out that never came)' No, in fact my rent was raised! Some areas are quiet, but it depends on who your neighbors are. It is mostly students, so don't be surprised to hear parties going on. Everything in these apartments is old & breaking apart. I've had one maintenance issue for over a year(!) that's yet to be resolved. I've had to have some things repaired several times & they just cover up the problems with paint so a few months later they need to be repaired again. Everything looks like it's been painted the same blah white about 30 times. Oh yeah, the walls are incredibly thin, which means I get to hear my downstairs neighbors having sex all the time.

I have to agree with Anoymous. We've been living here for 31/2 yrs. Also no heat every winter. They give u space heaters that you can't use because the power blows out. Right now they've dug into the ground to repair the water pipes. It's taking them now 5 weeks and they still haven't finished. They continuously shut off all water from 9 to 5. I also had students live across from me. It was horrible. Music didn't bother me but the throwing glass bottles out of windows did. The kicking in the downstairs door did. You call it in and they do nothing. It took them 1 1/2 to replace the door and that was because they had perspective renters coming to see the apt. They advertise that these are luxury apt. They need the Webster dictionary to see the real meaning of the word. It is a shame how all they care about is what the ground look like. They are sure to be out there on Sat's mowing the lawn.
