Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009

I've been at Briarcliff since late Summer 2008. I should have taken it as a bad omen that the air conditioner, which looks like it would be at home in the Brady bunch house, did not function. Of course I was moving in on the hottest weekend of the year. Now the heater in the living room doesn't operate, although I've called about it, and someone was in and had the unit apart, it still doesn't function. The snow removal is a joke, the only paths I've seen are cleared by people in the apartments. From what I hear, the new property manager only lasted about a month, and now no one is running the office. Parking is awful, although you get 1 spot per apartment it will most likely not be close because of the strange arrangement of spaces. With the lots only being plowed randomly (its been 2 days since we had 10 inches and no plow), only people with 4 wheel drive can make it up the hill from the bottom lot. Last month, even some of those got stuck because the hill was so packed it turned to ice. Once my lease is up I'm out of here, and I'm seriously considering leaving earlier.

I can confirm the above entirely. I am a current resident and the conditions here are deplorable. The Code Enforcement of Syracuse cited them about two weeks ago
for extreme negligence for snow/ice/plowing etc. It is not any better in the warmer months either...yes, most definitely skip this property!
