keep in mind that the one person who said they would recommend this place was 3 years ago management has changed in a big way. the current owner has 1 person managing multiple complexes. so needless to say between the hours of 12:01am and 11:59pm you will never see a manager in the office you cant even call the office to setup an appointment to see the place you call an answering service. that being said they have one maintenance guy who never answers his phone, and when he dose finally call you back and schedule to come fix something he never shows up. the sidewalks are never shoveled the stars have lights that have been out the entirety of my stay here, when it snows bad expect the driveway not to be plowed for days so don't live here unless you have 4 wheel drive and chains on your tires because the hill coming down the driveway is about a 65-75 degree angle and always about a foot of snow on it (unless you get a friend to come over with his plow so you can get out, and not be late to work again and lose money) oh and btw if you do decide to move in make sure you pay with a check because they like to "lose the rent payment" (but it still gets cashed and put into the owners account...(haven't they heard of a bank statement)...Weird) if you do move in here and i seriously hope you do not get ready to take cabs to work everyday, pay rent twice for the same month, and have no maintenance to speak of, and have no management to even voice your complaints about how you should have listened to me

I can confirm all of the above because I am a current resident of this place. Beware that the owner owns several properties in the Syracuse area...do your research. Woodhaven, Breckenridge(Liverpool)....so do not be fooled by the upbeat message on the office machine when it is working. The main. person is deceitful and absolutely negligent. He tries to intimidate those who complain about him. SO BUYER BEWARE!

I totally agree w/ all that has been stated! I've live @ briarcliff for a little over a year now and have messed up tires, and been late for work over 5x due to the snow and lack of plowing and salting the hill! It took maintenance 2 months to fix the leak in my daughter's ceiling which turned to mold! they also "fixed" the leak in my living room, but never came back to fix the light fixture, replace the lightbulbs or the brown mildew spots on the ceilign where the leak came through!. The maintenance guy also decided he was going to get drunk annnnnnd eat lunch in my apt while he was "putting in my new toilet which i still have the same toilet that was there before! He left all his food contianers and empty beer cartons in my trash can! This place is crazy I've heard several complaints from neighbors throughout the comlex! the rental manager is HORRIBLE! SHe's never in the office and NEVER returns phone calls and if you have an issue that happens to fall on a Jewish holiday they will tell you they cannot work b/c the owner is Jewish. Well then perhaps he shoul dhave onyl rented to Jewish people! both me and my 3 yr old daughter have fallen on the icy steps due to them not plowing ir saltign once the snow turned to ice. I'm in a month-to month lease now and will be moving ASAP!

These people are not crazy. I have lived here since august '08 and am also horrified at the negligence in regards to snow removal. I have had ok luck with maintenance within my own apt, but the snow removal is basically non existent, depending on how far the maintenance man feels like snow blowing that day. I fell twice on the stairs, my husband fell one. I had all of my halloween decorations stolen off of my front porch, and last night the LICENSE PLATES WERE STOLEN OFF OF MY CAR!!! It is such a shame because my apt (2bdrm) is really comfortable on the inside. So if you dont mind non-existent snow removal and theft, this is the place for you!

Its in a terrible neighborhood too. Every morning i go to work when its still dark and there are coon all over the place at 4 am
