High Acres seemed like a dream locale after living in a downtown apartment with crime problems. The location is beautiful. However, we encountered crime here as well. Our car was burglarized twice, the first time the stereo was stolen. We encountered a lot of prejudice from neighbors who wanted to know what we brought here when we moved that attracted crime to their precious neighborhood.
The building also treated us as if we were the only people who have experienced crime here and from the other review, we know that is not true.
The location is ideal, but the management is not that flexible with leases or policies.
