Once you sign your lease don't expect any great level of service. They do a good job with the cosmetics but the mechanicals (especially the awful AC units), cabinetry and bath fixtures are 30 years old and show it. If you want something get it as a condition of signing and make sure it's done BEFORE you move in. They lie with a smile so don't believe they'll take care of it later. The maintenance guys are OK but they treat them like crap so there is a constant parade of new ones. Carpet cleaning, painting and papering are done by low skilled relatives of the management and the job is always poor but don't bother telling the office.

Complex is preyed apon by the scum from down the hill. Cars constantly broken into on property. If you have a good stereo and no alarm expect to lose your window and equipment. Be sure to cable lock your outdoor stuff (barbacue, chairs etc) or they will walk. Don't store anything valuable in the basement unless you can secure it with a cable lock to a cinder block.

I live here for the school system and will be looking elsewhere when that is no longer nessessary.
