I lived in an apartment with these guys last year. They cut up our apartment to make 5 really tiny rooms with no sound-proofing (if you go into the tiny closet you can throw a ball over the closet wall to the other roommate's closet)

We paid 500/month each for 5 bedrooms. The next year we found a 3-bedroom place for $300/month each that was far larger and much better kept.

There are tons of great landlords in troy that have better places at lower prices, don't go with these guys!

Our stairs were a safety hazard that we complained about, and they fixed them only after we left. For the whole year we asked for a recycling bin, which we never got. The insulation was miserable (my room was FREEZING and in the closet I could see the outside brick wall of the house)

These guys have changed their name twice in the past few years, probably because they want to distance themselves from when they were banned from advertising on RPI campus.

I had a similar experience, and took similar action - moved out! Avoid these idiots at all costs.
