I have read all of the reviews about this complex and I have yet to figure out what everyone is complaining about. I just moved out of this complex after three years of living here problem-free. Well, okay, the parking complaints are generally valid as the spaces are really small, but I have to point out that most of the cars taking the spaces are not even registered with the office. The parking problems are, more often, an issue of the tenants inviting too many friends over and not utilizing the designated guest parking areas. So on that note, I cannot say that the lack of parking is a problem to blame on the complex (unless of course they feel like towing the jerks out).

I have never noticed that I could hear my neighbors, or that they were ever too loud. Everyone in the area is more than respectful, so the noise complaints, to me, seem a little out of place.

I agree that if you have a life-threatening fear of spiders, this may not be the place for you. I would hardly call it out of hand. If you are a normal person with the average mentality that a spider shouldn't be handled with bare hands, then you won't have a problem.

The management and the maintenance people were always very responsive. Anytime I had a problem in the apartment or around the complex, I would speak with someone and within the next day, my problem would be addressed.

After three years, I can safely say that I am heartbroken that I have had to leave. I can tell you very seriously that I left on good terms with the management and I wish more than anything that I could have packed the entire complex with me when I moved. I loved living here and in my search for a new place to live, I am looking for nothing less than the quality and kindness that I found at River's Edge.

This person is either highly medicated, or this suspiciously smells of River's Edge Management planting a positive review. It's just a little too gushing when so many others have had complaints. And adequate parking IS to blame on the complex when they paint the lines so close together that it's near impossible NOT to hit your door on another car as you try to exit the vehicle. I would say that if this person really wants to take the whole complex with them, they should by all means do so!

So what if I liked the place and like to gush? When I'm satisfied, I say so. I stated clearly that I didn't understand why everyone else was complaining (maybe as a young college student, the things that bother other people don't bother me). As far as the parking issue, I only mentioned that the LACK of parking was hard to blame on them because it is the people that live in the complex that aren't abiding by the rules. The spaces are tiny, I mentioned that as a complaint. I lived in building 2200, and if you've ever been in that part of the complex, you know there are very few spots. If I got in after 5pm, I would be parking closer to the office than my apartment. However, when I walked over to that area and looked at all of the cars parked, I would find that maybe 5 of the cars actually had a sticker permitting them to park there. So to me, the lack of parking was a bigger issue, but nothing that I would have pinned on the management. And I have to hope with all of my heart that the management isn't sitting around writing fake reviews when they clearly have so many hard to please people
