One of my nice neighbors told me about this site, and the complaints other tennants have been having. I WISH I knew about this before I rented, because I never would have rented here. Instead, I am quietly waiting out my lease because regardless of the nice complaints, angry complaints and outright threats of lawsuits, calling code enforcement etc., I have realized they don't care.

If I didn't care that it would make it more difficult to get a lease in the future, I would leave right now, or at least stop paying rent until they fixed the extensive list of problems, including ROACHES, noisy neighbors, a colony of outdoor cats, dangerous sidewalks (cracked, sticking up, tripping hazars), basement floods, water coming up through the bath tub on particularily rainy days (first floor, don't know if they have this problem on the 2nd floor), no a/c unit (even though they are supposed to provide one), etc etc etc.

The people in the leasing office will not return calls for basic things like my lock not working, my house having bugs etc.

Even though they won't do this basic maintenance, they put up signs in the apartments with vague threats and complaints of their own about "excessive noise" (which they do nothing about!!!), backing into parking spots (which they don't allow because they say it gets exhaust into the apartments) etc.

I cannot wait to move. This is literally the worst apartment I have ever lived in. Don't be decieved by attractive rent and included utilities. It ends up costing you more because you have to pay for your own repairs and maintenance. Not to mention the emotional toll it takes on you when you wake up with a roach crawling on you and you know that no matter what you do, the leasing office will do NOTHING to help.

GEESH! I am moving there soon and already have problems, but they have my deposit... Wish I saw this before I went there.
