I was shocked & bewildered by the negative review above.
Obviously the person who wrote the review doesn't reside in the building. Yes the radiator has a little bit of chipped paint & needs a touchup but who really cares. The carpeting, light fixtures, & paint in the lobby are beautiful. If your semi intelligent & sensable, it looks like a co-op building. Personally I know 99% of all tenants in the building because I lived here for more than 20 years. There was only one tenant who was miserable. The reason being, during her lease, she purchased a dog which kept the entire building up at late hours. The management company of course took our side. In the lease dogs were restricted & her lease was terminated. Management is very aggressive, but in a way that you respect & feel honored to have a company who cares & maintains there building meticously. I am personally a neat freak & the super cleans, vacumms the building almost every day. Regarding the super, he is overally capable of pretty much doing any repair. Not to mention a hell of a guy, a peoples person who has pride in his building. I ran into him at Home Depot one afternoon & he told me he is purchasing plants & flowers for the lobby. My apartment is huge. The size is accurate to the floorplan I received from the original owner who I won't comment about. Other tenants have smaller 1 bedrooms because I was told their are three different size floorplans. The majority of tenants remain content & renew each year. Parking is adequate. You receive a sticker from the town for $20 bucks for two years. How much cheaper can it get' You can only park in front of the building during specific hours which is a pain. The Village of Valley Stream owns it pretty much half the day. But the parking isn't a problem. You can park in two lotts within a block or two. Well, good luck, hope I helped a bit.
