To read the review below and see that somebody is complaining about the heat shocks me. I still live in the building and the heat is perfect. Sometimes I have to ask the super to close the valve because it can be too strong. There is always heat. Both during the day and night. The building is well run. They steam clean the carpet, repaint the hallways and doors. The parking is easy if you know all the rules. Basically you can rent a spot for 100-125 a month but there are only 8 or you can pay 40 bucks to park for two years. It was a little confusing at first but forty dollars and a copy of your lease gets you a sticker to park across the street in a village lot. Its cheap, easy, and convenient. If you have more than one car, I found out its just another 40 bucks for two years. Great! The long island railroad is right across the street is if you work in Manhattan like I do its a breeze. The super is a pro, real cool and takes care of you. There is never a problem with the snow during the winter. The laundry machines are in the building and always work. One time there was a problem with one of the washers but the company came right away to rectify the problem. The building has intercom phones which are cool and pretty high tech. The hot water comes out immediately and you don't have to wait. Again the heat is great, sometimes too much. My unit was renovated and it is amazing. New appliances, kitchen cabinets, and more. My stove had a problem once but they sent a technician to fix it right away. The rent bills come with a form each month that you fill out if you have any issues. The ceilings are vaulted so it is very quiet and there are hardly any children in the building. 98 percent are either married or single people. There are no dogs allowed which is great because of the noise involved. I did see a few cats but they dont bother me. Th e management firm visits weekly and I see that they put a lot into the apartments, and maintenance. They were working outside on some brick work and didn't inform the tenants. I was slightly annoyed at first but then learned that it didn't affect, bother or make much noise at all. The managment team also doesnt take advantage of your rent. They give very low increases. Mine went up 15 bucks. That is great. My last landlord gave me a 50 increase and I heard some give even more so its nice to see that they are reasonable and want you to be happy and stay. The exterminator comes 1x per month but many people dont even sign up because the building is clean. Well. Good luck. Great complex!
