Management makes it very difficult to have an enjoyable experience at the Westminster Gardens. During the winter time we had ants that crawled up from underneath the toilet and when I mentioned this to the staff their response was, "We just cut a tree down nearby, they will go away." We bought traps to slow the problem down, but they didn't go away. I don't like the feeling of ants crawling on my face while I'm sleeping, this happened on a few occasions. The maintenance staff walks in to your apartment without prior notice. My girlfriend woke up one day to find somebody in our bedroom installing a co2 monitor. Why did she wake up' Because he was whistling a song. We were told that we would get a new oven and a new dishwasher before we moved in because they both had problems, after making several calls and complaining we did end up getting a new dishwasher, well at least it was new to our apartment and although it worked, it leaked to the extent that we had to dry a small load of towels each time we decided to run the dishwasher. Don't believe them either when the say that they are going to pave their lot, they told us this, and they mentioned it to our neighbors when she moved in, a few years prior. We had to fight for our security deposit back, to the point that we had to threaten small claims court, we never went cause our check appeared in our mailbox soon after. All apartments have their quarks, but what separates the good ones from the bad ones is how much the staff is willing to work with you to resolve problems and that they do what they say they will do. Management here is pretty horrible.
