Ignore Tenant Request and Take nothing seriously

Chelsea Ridge is run by amateurs. They ignore any requests and never answer their phones. They have "renovated" the buildings, but all of the indoor renovations are cheap and faulty. The kitchen cabinets were installed so low to the counters that nothing fits onto the countertops. Most importantly, THEY ENTER YOUR APARTMENT WITHOUT NOTICE. Complaints are not taken seriously and they do not follow up. The only person who takes a tenant seriously is the maintenance supervisor, who should be running the show. Unfortunately, your complaints are never forwarded to him, so he never finds out about a request. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG

God you are so lucky. Perhaps when the maintenance guy that lives at the cay almost runs you, your spouse and dog over two times doing 50 mph,and they don't return your deposit that did not earn interest at all,you will understand too.Peter Almasi Jr-Former tenant of unit 723 in the cay-email address is Peter@cyfm.org-anything else?

Goddenb you are a very ignorant individual in the knowledge of mold. "Cleaning better" DOES NOT STOP MOLD GROWTH. You obviously know absolutely nothing about mold! Mold can form from flooding and leaking roofs. If it is in the walls, under the carpet, or in an area you cannot clean, it will come back. CLEANING AREAS YOU CAN ONLY SEE DOES NOT ELIMINATE THE SOURCE/CAUSE OF THE MOLD! Do yourself a favor, Google it and amend your comment! Know what you are writing about before you post such nonsense.

ORIGINAL POST 09-12-2007 I really still have not had a problem here. I think my apartment is great and the maintenance staff is right on the ball. Everyone is still very pleasant. My downstairs neighbor even offered me the use of his car today because we only have one. How can you get nicer than that? Maybe we got lucky with the building we are in, but I think it is great here. Why do so many people complain but then post anonymously? If you have an issue that is not being resolved, why not go right to the office to complain? If you have mold in your home (one of the pictures), maybe you should clean better. I have Clorox Wipes that I clean everything with everyday and I sweep and mop everyday, too. I don't think I will be getting mold any time soon. I have two children and still maintain a spotless home. When things are in disrepair because of construction, then I would expect some hazards at some point (again, the pictures). I will enjoy my time here and be happy and upbeat, not negative and always looking for the bad. Instead of complaining take a little more initiative when there is a problem. Cheer up people.----------------------------- 09/20/2007 Ouch Anonymous 09/19/2007, did I hit a nerve? If you look at the pictures it looks like neglect, not flooding. I am not an "ignorant individual in the knowledge of mold" although, unlike you, I am not an expert either. I do know that there are many causes and solutions to a mold problem, but again for your sake, I was ONLY referring to the picture. Thank you for the giggle!!

The apartment with the mold was mine. The base boarding is rotted out and so is the wall next to the sliding glass door. I am a very clean person. When they installed the new doors and windows this Spring they had to add an additional piece of 2x4 to support the sliding glass door because the rotted out one would not give it enough support. They also left the rotted one in place, added caulking and slapped some fresh paint on it. I really do not think that will prevent the mold growth from coming back this Winter. BLACK MOLD does not just go away with bleach or paint. The breeding ground for this dangerous mold must be removed not painted over or washed with bleach. Giggle all you want in your ignorance, I'm sure others will be laughing at you not with you.

Goddenb knows nothing about mold. I wrote the 9/19/07 post. I am in the home inspection business and I do know what I'm talking about. When Goggenb falls ill, will he/she be stating that it's because they didn't clean well? People with that mentality can get very ill and possible die. Mold is nothing to fool around with.
