Do NOT let the pretty exterior fool you. We have lived in Avalon View for 4 months. When we first moved in the flooring had holes, the windows were broken, walls and ceilings had water stains, the sink was covered in mold, we had wasp nests everywhere outside, there was mold inside and out, the countertops were littered in chips and scratches, the gutters were clogged, and this was just the start of it. By week 2 our ceiling and windows were leaking water. It took them over a week to fix the ceiling and the windows are still faulty. After numerous calls to the leasing office a month later (yes, a month later)we finally got someone to take care of some of the minor problems. we were then told they would be back in the next few weeks to fix the rest. That was over 10 weeks ago! The leasing office doesn't know the meaning of empathy or customer service and the maintenance staff doesn't follow through. To top everything off, there is one trash area for the entire massive complex. so, unless you want to walk 1/4 mile with your trash, you have to drive it there. you will know you are close because it is constantly overflowing with decomposing trash. You definitly do NOT get your money's worth at avalon view.
