We got caught in the early termination option tangle the same as one of the previous comments. Be extra careful and get things in writing.

Pros:
- nice staff (very friendly)
- beautfiul apartmenets (bright, newer appliances, nice carpet, ceiling fans, laundry hookups)
- everybody has a garage (one per bedroom)
- pretty quiet (other than barking dogs, I can't complain at all)
- great closet space in our model
- newer appliances (except the dishwasher is bottom of the line and small)

Cons:
- Dog crap everywhere (renters with pets not held accountable)
- slow/poor service (all our windows leaked all winter and they can't fix it until spring, with no offer of compensation)
- poor snow plowing (that is when they actually plow, they use a contractor that isn't very reliable)
- walks are rarely cleared of snow (1 guy walks around with a shovel so be prepared to shovel your own)
- very very expensive for the market in Rochester (you even have to pay for your own trash pickup)

To sum it up, its a really nice place if you don't mind paying a lot, but don't expect any kind of service and plan to stay off the grass to avoid stepping in dog mines.

Also, it is my sincere belief that based on the poor service, the high rent, the high number of available rentals, private family ownership, problems with snow plowing service and absolute refusal to work with you if you want to terminate early... I believe they are in financial trouble. And given the damage from the leaking over the winter I'd say the value of the place to the owners is going down rapidly.

Very nice place but go into with eyes wide open!
