Since we have moved in, we have experienced nothing but problems. We've had a laundry list on maintenance concerns that took months and multiple reports to get "fixed." Many of the issues have reoccured and worsened. The workmanship and maintanence staff are shoddy and only offer quick fixes.

Safety is a concern for me as well. The building has security doors, but the keys are not marked "Do Not Copy." Potentially anyone could have a key to these doors. When I broke a key, I was told to go to Wal-Mart and have a copy made from my wife's. To me, this defeats the purpose of a security door. The locks aren't changed from tenant to tenant, so if the people who used to live here made copies, they would still have access to the apartment. Very scary thought.

Since the new ownership came in, our experience has gone even further downhill. The 2 washers, 2 dryers for the 16 apartments in the building are always breaking down. They are coin operated machines, yet the new management ended the policy of offering quarters in the rental office. They have recently removed the onsite garbage room in the basement and installed dumpsters near each building. Not only is this inconvenient and ugly, but it is also unsage. Many agents are elderly and are now forced to walk through the snow and ice to get rid of their trash. With the recent snow and ice storms, the lids on the dumpsters are extremely heavy and the side doors are often frozen shut. It is only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt. It seems as if the new management is doing everything possible to take away the small amenities we had and make living here a big inconvenience.

I do not recommend living here at all. It has been a terrible experience.
