I moved into Bennington Hills because I was impressed with how nice the buildings looked, and was willing to pay $200 a month more than the nearest competitor because I thought it would be a rather pleasent experience, oh how I was wrong. The buildings may look nice on the outside, but they are incredably poorly constructed. Pretty much every appliance in the apartment has broke in the last year, the laminate on all the cabinets peels off, there is almost no insulation in the building ($220 a month for gas in a 950sq ft apartmen when I keep it at 65''). All this would have been fine except for the staff. They are by far the rudest most unhelpfull people I have ever met. When I gave my required 60 days notice at the end of my lease to move out, they tried to charge me a $955 move out "fee" even though that was completely illegal. On top of that they tried to take my $1900 deposit. Now it's a month later and I have yet to get my deposit back and, surprise, no on in the office is of any help. Do youself a favor and look elsewhere.
