I lived at Erie Station from 2007-2008. I would like to say April and Renee are the most professional, understanding and customer service oriented leasing people I have ever dealt with. YES they try to build a friendship with the tenants. Erie Station tries to be a COMMUNITY not just an apartment complex. They have made a few minor special arrangements with me that were never in writing (in the lease). Giving a break on pet rent, etc...is an offer of friendship and a new beginning for the new tenant and Erie Station Village. When a tenant doesn't pay their rent on time or causes issues in the peaceful tranquility of Erie Station Village of course the "lease" is adhered to line by line.

Apartment complexes or communities are within their rights to give you a "gift" of something not in the lease and retract that in their discretion. If you went to the gas station and always got a free cup of coffee then the gas station owner stopped would you sue him cause he no longer gave you the coffee' A class-action suit against Erie Station Village I will personally fly back to Rochester to defend Erie Station Village. The lease is always the default contract what ever courtesy you get not in your rent is just that a courtesy.

Every issue I have ever had was dealt with prompty and above the call of duty. If a tenant decides to go around the relationship and the chain of command that is built with property management of course you will get stuck with the bills. Erie Station Village is a property run by a property management company. You pay rent to them BUT it is NOT your home. You lease not own.

Also, you rent an apartment or a townhome with shared walls. You will occasionally hear your neighbors. Erie Station Village has used new and modern building techniques in creating the community. If you purchased a home down the street (yeah all those new homes next to I-90) same building materials and construction is used.

The bottom line is this: April, Rene and Jeff run Erie Station Village like a family would and they always go beyond the call of duty. They will stick out their neck for you over and over again. Treat them like you would your own family and Erie Station Village will feel like a gated community in upscale Boca Raton.
One last thought, look around Rochester and the suburbs of Rochester do you honestly think you can do better then Erie Station Village' Pay the little above market rent for a wonderful experience.

On a personal note: April and Renee are so warm and understanding. I was at a very low point in my life and they did everything humanly possible to get me to smile. I will never forget my experience at Erie Station Village. If I could take Erie Station Village with me to my new city I moved to I would have. I had previous great review of Erie Station Village on here I didn't know that making a new review with the same username would delete the old one. Trust me Erie Station Village is a Diamond in the Ruff!!!

oh, you got a break on your pet deposit huh? Hmm, that's really odd b/c the top cheese jerk Creig or Greg, whatever his name is tried to charge me for the break Rene gave me on the pet deposit, said she would never stick her neck out like that. And further more, are you saying that you get a break here and there as long as you don't make any complaints about your carpet? Is that what you're saying? Please, do tell. You say you hear your neighbors once in a while? how about common noise is heard all the time b/c your so called boca raton luxury "community" is made of the cheapest materials the owner could get his hands on. That entire "community" went up in one summer. Where do you get off thinking that just because you SAY something that its true? Wish I lived in your dream world. Your place is substandard and the mgt is dishonest, that is the truth weather I say it or not.
