i have lived in city place since september 2006. we have a beautiful apartment however that might be the only perk of the building... the parking garage roof has dripped something on my car that literally ate away at the paint.. now the garage is under construction so there is constantly a film of dust on the car, nowhere to park and driving in the garage is extremely difficult... the concierge staff is not the friendliest or most helpful and the management is absolutely not helpful at all... the pool has not worked since i moved in except for maybe 3 weeks and after 1 year, and all the problems we have encountered they still raised our rent 10%, which they have the right to do, but you would think if they wanted glowing recommendations they would be accomodating after everything they put this building through.. we forgot to drop the rent check off on time and trust me, they know, we got a letter under our door threatening legal action... mind you were were a day LATE!!! i would say money is their first and only priority, def. not your comfort in your own home... you can hear your neighbors VERY well through the vents and be careful if you rent on the main street side of the building, it's so noisy at all hours of the night, you have the constant light of the stores across the street shining in unless you buy curtains to go over the curtains they supply you and in the winter, good luck with the heat since ours didn't work on the coldest nights!!! gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7

this is pretty accurate - though we like our beautiful apartment enough to tolerate it. getting a high floor or corner unit helps a LOT.
