I have lives in stepping stones for about three years. The building is about a mile from downtown white plains (shopping, restaurants etc). They have done a lot of work in the building in the past few years (hallways, lobby, elevator, garages outdoor). It is a bit inconvenient while the work is going on but afterwards it is usually a nice improvement to the property. The staff is very nice especially the super and they do a good job of getting things fixed quickly.
It is an older building, bu they made my apartment very nice when I moved in with new appliances.
You are guaranteed one parking space - which is extra and parking for guests is tricky because they don't allow street parking overnight.
Overall, I would recommed it to people who want a reasonable rental in White Plains, which is very hard to find these days.
