I have not lived there for some time, but reading these reviews brings back alot of bad memories. My wife was relocated here by her job, so we had no choice but to move. I checked all around, and HP was the only place that had anything available with our time frame. I moved from Nashville where I had a 2000 square foot 3 bedroom house that I paid $800 a month...including property taxes.With the parking fee for 2 cars and rent, we were paying $2100 a month....For What ''' I will never understand what is so great about living in or near NYC. There is not a thing in the world that I can't do anywhere else, that I would need to be here to do. I am so sick of hearing people rave about the food, the nightlife, and the "culture" that my head will soon explode. Who can afford to any of those things while paying $2100 a month rent. The only people that say they love this place...is people that have never been anywhere else !!!! Back to HP....My biggest complaint is this..When we moved in we got kinda friendly with the lady at the security desk. Being from the south, she thought we were funny, and loved the way we talked. About 8 months into our lease, I was home one day, when someone knocked on our door. It was her. We had a few minutes of small talk, and then she popped the question. Can I borrow $200 '' Now usually I don't have that much money to spare, but the company my wife worked had given some extra cash to move up here, so I said yes. I was told that it would only be for a couple of days, so I didn't see a problem. That was 3 years ago, and I'm still waiting. I have sinced forgotten about ever seeing my money again. So beware.

I pay more than you did at HP for a small 1 bedroom in Manhattan's Upper West Side without parking or much space and its so worth it. Just because you can't enjoy something does not mean it sucks. You did not live in NYC... you lived in Yonkers! And lending money to someone you really don't know makes you an idiot not Hudson Park Apartments.
