I just moved here from Manhattan and cant believe how easy it is to get to midtown.
I work near Time Square and door to door it takes 30 minutes.
When I lived in the upper east side it took longer to get to work.
The building is very well maintained and the people in the management office are very nice.
They offer some really good deals right now as well.
I would definitely recommend it.

Hudson Park is not well maintained. Residents complain about how the building is maintained. The walls are so thin you can here your neighbors. Management must have posted the comment dated 12/2008. There is not a real concierge service, and some of the people at the front desk are lazy. If you call with a question they never have an answer, and get this they have a computer right in front of them to look up any information. The only part that is true is the complex being close to Manhattan.
Overall, it's not worth the money. Management is really friendly at first, but once you get in they change. The Management only does a great job to create HYPE about the buildings.
P.S. The complex is located 1 block from the ghetto, and there is no security. The concierge leave at 12am. This is not a complex that loves its residents, rather the rent we pay!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND HUDSON PARK

The fortunate part about Hudson Park, for the moment is that the building is new so the apartments are nice, but unfortunately the building was constructed very cheap and in a few years the apartments will be hard to maintain and in very bad shape. The ac/heat units are so big and noisy you have to turn your TV up to even hear it. Management is not really nice I hate to even ask them a question. Because my husbands name is not on the lease he cannot use any of the amenities when I am not there, as I travel often. However this was an error on their part when I applied because they never told me his name had to be on the lease, so they told me if I didn't like it I could leave and forfeit my deposit. But with the rents so high there, who would want to do that? The apartment being convenient to the train station is good, however if you are on the wrong side of the building, the noise is unbearable. I feel if they don't look after their existing tenants, they will probably loose many of them.

I can't see why the previous writer's husband can't use the amenities .... the gym is full of people who don't live in the building - brought in by the erstwhile "personal trainer".

I moved in 2009 and am moving out this month 2011. It is no longer new!!! Bad management (idiots). Thugs and drug dealers all around...not safe, bad neighborhood...not clean. DO NOT MOVE HERE unless you like dirt, drugs, high electric bills and ignorant management. There are better places to live! I give this place a minus 1 star.
