Good if you like living in the ghetto

First of all, I will say that there a few positive things about this place (although the bad far outweighs the good). Maintenance has been pretty good, they come when you call and generally fix the problem. I say generally because I usually have to call about the same things, and they give a "quick fix" until it breaks again.
This is a personal thing, and not really the management's fault, but I have a big problem with most of the residents here. Like I said, this place is the ghetto, and all you will hear all day and night is rap music and people being loud. Most of the residents that live here as far as I can tell are just lazy people on welfare. The walls between the town houses are VERY thin and I can hear my neighbor do everything. On top of that, he blares music so loud it gives me a headache and smokes weed in the basement. I have called management, the security guy and the police. Management said they would talk to him but they either did not, or it didn't help. The security guy is only here on Friday and Saturday nights apparently until the weather gets nicer (wtf') and the police NEVER COME. So, I have to live with that. If you are a serious student or have small children I would say this would be a terrible place to live.
I was also promised several things before I moved in. The apartments are old in general, but they are updating them. They told me that they were replacing my cabinets in the kitchen. Mine were hand-built by someone who apparently did not own a ruler, and are uneven and falling apart. I relied on this promise when I moved in, but the cabinets were never replaced. The other "improvements" can hardly be called that. The carpeting is horrible. When I vacuum, it gets clogged with the actual carpet- it's so cheap that my vacuum just sucks it right up. Also, the new windows are ok but not the greatest and they are not energy efficient at all (which is a huge problem overall as I will get to later). Also, the new blinds are horrible. There are five windows in my townhouse, and three of them the blinds are broken, because they are just cheap, not through any fault of my own. The blinds in the living had not even been open all winter (because of the heat problem, the blinds at least keep some of the cold out) and this spring when I went to pull them up for the first time, they were broken. It's ridiculous.
Good luck keeping this place warm in the winter. It's so expensive, and all the heat goes right of the roof. My gas bill during the winter was $150-$170 a month, and I kept the heat at 60! I was freezing most of the time, and had to stay upstairs where it was at least bearable. The heat just ran and ran all the time because it never could heat the place. Such a waste of money.
Yes, the price is good. Yes, the parking is good. But that's about it. I suppose it is in a convenient place, although I find myself driving to Green or Cuyahoga Falls to shop and get the things I need. I live alone and I do not feel safe here.
If you have kids, I would say do not move here. If you don't mind loud music, people walking around at all hours of the day and night, cheap accommodations, and a sketchy at best neighborhood, then I guess this place is perfect for you. But if not, run far far away.
