After living at Fairway Manor for about 9 months, the place is ok. But, there wasn't addequate parking. The management was poor, not very kind, arrogant, and pushy. Maintence was next to impossible, you have to call and call and call, then they don't show up. The apartments are also overpriced. You can find cheaper, nicer apartments in Akron. The structural design is also poor in that they are not very efficient on gas, nor electric. Some months we would get a $200-$300 gas bill. Most of the neighbors are ok, minus a couple, including a suspected drug dealing one, which the management of Fairway Tower and Manor neglect to see. Either they are nieve of it, and make a bigger deal out of lesser problems, or maybe they enjoy in the profits, who knows. They are bias as well. I cannot hang a blanket or towel on my balcony because it is "Not allowed," but it is ok for the neighbor next door to have a propane grill on their balcony. If I were you and looking at this place, check elsewhere first. O, and you probably won't see much of your security deposit back either as they find ways to spend it all. Overall, I would say Fairway Tower and Manor is an ok place to stay, but has a ton of poor aspects that make it undesirable to live at for extended periods of time.
